I have even used the live CD for 9.04 RC but I don't think there is an improvement in that department. I am not sure if that would help at all since I don't believe it is ACPI related. I read in a post about acpi-listen but I can't find it or install it. I have tried to get the codes with xev and dmesg but there was no output. I have tried Keytouch and Lineak but they were both unable to intercept the key codes for the multimedia keys.
